4. Egg Carton Flying Vampires
Do not throw away your cardboard egg cartons; instead, upcycle them into a colony of spooky flying vampires. Cut an egg carton into sections of three connected cups. Cut the bottom edges of the two outer cups into pointed arches to resemble bat wings, leaving the center cup intact as the vampire’s body. Paint the entire egg carton piece with black paint. Once dry, flip it over so the cups point downward. Glue googly eyes to the center cup, draw on a mischievous smile with a red paint marker, and add two white paper fangs. Punch a small hole in the top of the center cup and thread a colorful ribbon through it so your little ones can fly their vampire bats around the living room or hang them from the ceiling.
