11. Tissue Paper Window Sun Catchers
Brighten up your windows with colorful, spooky sun catchers made from black construction paper and tissue paper. Cut out a silhouette frame from black paper—popular shapes include black cats, bubbling cauldrons, spooky bats, or classic jack-o’-lanterns. Cut a piece of clear contact paper slightly larger than your silhouette, peel off the backing, and place the black paper frame onto the sticky side. Have your child tear or cut orange, purple, green, or yellow tissue paper into small squares and press them onto the sticky contact paper inside the frame. Once filled, seal the back with another sheet of contact paper, trim the edges, and tape it to a sunny window to watch the colors glow beautifully.
