17. Clay Pot Spider Plant Holders
Turn mini terracotta clay pots into adorable, creepy-crawly spider plant holders. Paint the entire clay pot with glossy black acrylic paint. Once dry, flip the pot upside down so the drainage hole is at the top. Glue eight black pipe cleaners—four on each side—to the inside rim of the pot, bending them to look like jointed spider legs. Add several googly eyes of varying sizes to the front of the pot to give it a silly, bug-eyed look. You can place a small faux succulent or a tea light on top of the upside-down pot, making it a perfect, spooky addition to any windowsill, desk, or kitchen counter.
