12. Tin Can Ghost Windchimes
Recycle empty soup or vegetable cans into spooky, wind-catching ghost windchimes that dance in the autumn breeze. Wash the cans thoroughly and file down any sharp edges. Paint the entire outside of the can with white outdoor-safe paint. Once dry, use a black permanent marker to draw a classic ghostly face on the front. Cut long strips of white ribbon, lace, or crepe paper streamers. Glue these streamers to the inside rim of the bottom of the can so they hang down like ghostly tentacles. Punch a hole in the top of the can, thread a sturdy piece of twine through, and hang your ghost from a tree branch or your front porch to watch it flutter gracefully in the wind.
