11. Whimsical Pool Noodle Monster Hands
Add a touch of playful fright to your home by crafting giant, colorful monster hands that look like they are reaching out from behind doors, under couches, or out of your garden bushes. This is a fantastic project to do with kids, allowing them to design their own wacky, multi-fingered beast appendages.
Cut pool noodles into fingers, slicing the ends at angles to create joints. Insert bendable wire through the center so you can pose the fingers in grasping or pointing positions. Glue the fingers to a wider foam base to represent the palm of the hand. Cover the entire hand in bright neon green, purple, or orange felt, or wrap it in colorful yarn. Add giant felt claws or glittery fingernails to the tips of the fingers. These oversized, cartoonish hands can be tucked into unexpected places around the house to surprise and delight your family and guests.
