15. Monster House Garage Door Archway

15

Turn your entire home into a living, breathing monster by transforming your garage door or front entryway into a giant, toothy maw. This creative decoration makes it look like anyone stepping onto your driveway is about to be swallowed whole. It is a fantastic way to utilize the large canvas of a garage door, creating a high-impact, neighborhood-wide sensation that looks incredible in daytime photos and nighttime displays.

Use large sheets of weather-resistant white coroplast (corrugated plastic) or heavy-duty cardboard to draw and cut out massive, jagged monster teeth. Paint the gums a deep, bloody red and the teeth a stained, creepy yellow-white. Attach the upper teeth to the trim above your garage door and the lower teeth to the bottom, ensuring they don’t interfere with the door’s operation. Add two giant, glowing bloodshot eyes made from painted beach balls or plastic domes mounted on the roof above the garage.
