14. Glowing Tomato Cage Ghost Columns

14

If you need quick, high-volume outdoor decorations that take up minimal storage space in the off-season, glowing tomato cage ghosts are the perfect solution. By turning wire tomato cages upside down and wrapping them in white fabric and lights, you can create sturdy, glowing ghostly figures that stand tall on your lawn or porch. They are wind-resistant, highly visible, and incredibly easy to assemble in under ten minutes.

Take a metal wire tomato cage and turn it upside down, securing the loose prongs together at the top with a rubber band or zip tie to form a pointed head shape. Wrap a strand of warm white outdoor LED string lights around the wire frame. Drape a cheap white bedsheet, tablecloth, or several layers of cheesecloth over the cage. Cut out eyes and a mouth from black felt and glue them to the fabric. Secure the bottom of the cage to your lawn with garden staples to keep your glowing ghosts standing tall against autumn winds.
