8. Whimsical Hanging Ghosts
Create a floating army of friendly spirits to dance in the autumn breeze. Start by painting several toilet paper rolls a clean, solid white. Once dry, use a thick black marker to draw expressive ghostly faces, complete with wide, open mouths and surprised eyes. To give these ghosts their ethereal, floating movement, cut long strips of white crepe paper, tissue paper, or white ribbon. Glue these strips to the inside of the bottom rim of the roll so they hang down like a tail. Punch two holes at the top of the roll, thread a white string through, and hang them near a window or door where the breeze can catch the tissue paper, making them look like they are floating through the air.
