Capture the cozy, warm glow of a carved pumpkin without any of the messy pulp or sharp knives. Paint your toilet paper rolls in vibrant shades of pumpkin orange. Once the paint is completely dry, use a black permanent marker or black acrylic paint to draw various classic jack-o-lantern faces, ranging from silly grins to spooky grimaces. To make these pumpkins truly magical, have an adult carefully cut out the eyes and mouth shapes using a utility knife. Place a battery-operated LED tea light inside the base of the roll. When the room lights are dimmed, the warm flickering light will shine through the cutouts, casting beautiful, spooky shadows on the walls and bringing your cardboard pumpkins to life.
