10. The Wise Autumn Owl
Incorporate a touch of woodland magic into your Halloween decorations with a wise, spooky night owl. To start, fold the top edges of the toilet paper roll inward to create two pointed tufts that look like owl ears. Paint the entire roll in warm autumn tones like deep brown, burnt orange, or forest green. Cut out a large chest piece from patterned scrapbook paper or felt, and glue it to the front of the roll. Cut out two large circles from white paper and two smaller circles from black paper to create giant, searching owl eyes. Cut a small triangle from orange paper for the beak. You can also glue real fallen autumn leaves to the sides of the roll to act as natural, textured wings.
