16. Decoupage Vintage Halloween Trays
Turn plain wooden or metal serving trays into beautiful functional art using the classic art of decoupage. Search for high-resolution images of vintage Halloween postcards, sheet music, or advertisements from the early 1900s. Print your favorites onto thin paper. Arrange and layer the prints onto the surface of the tray, securing them with a generous coat of Mod Podge. To blend the edges and give the tray an antique look, brush a light layer of brown glaze or watered-down brown acrylic paint around the edges.
