15. Alpine Log Cabin Sub-Level
A unique twist on the traditional mountain lodge, this build combines a classic rustic log cabin on the surface with a deep, dramatic sunken courtyard beneath it. Constructed from stripped dark oak, spruce logs, and rugged cobblestone, the central underground courtyard is anchored by an enormous double-sided stone chimney that stretches all the way up through the surface opening. Heavy timber beams cross overhead, framing the sky while retaining a cozy, enclosed cabin atmosphere. Deep-set seating areas lined with warm brown carpet and campfire lights offer a comfortable place to relax, while surrounding lower-level rooms host cozy sleeping quarters, armor displays, and rustic crafting areas safe from the freezing winds above.
