13. The Mad Scientist’s Glowing Specimen Lab
Ignite curiosity and a little bit of dread with a glowing, sci-fi-inspired mad scientist laboratory. Source various glass jars, test tubes, and round-bottom flasks. Fill them with water dyed with neon green, yellow, and orange food coloring. Drop in creepy plastic specimens such as plastic eyeballs, brains, skeleton hands, and toy insects. To make the jars truly glow, place small, waterproof LED puck lights underneath each vessel, or use a blacklight strip hidden behind a front garland of black tinsel to make fluorescent paint inside the jars fluoresce brilliantly. Add some hand-drawn anatomical sketches framed in black to complete the laboratory vibe.
