11. Whimsical Hocus Pocus Spellbook and Cauldron
Celebrate everyone’s favorite trio of witches with a mantle inspired by Salem and the Sanderson sisters. The star of this show is a DIY replica of “Book,” the spellbook with the moving eye. You can create this by wrapping a thick sketchbook in wet paper towels mixed with glue to create a wrinkled, leathery skin, painting it brown, and adding a plastic eye and clay snake accents. Place the spellbook on an ornate wooden easel. Next to it, position a black ceramic cauldron filled with green tulle and purple fairy lights to look like a bubbling potion. Hang a whimsical wooden sign above that reads “I Put a Spell on You” in a playful, curling font.
