6. Minimalist Cut-Out Leather
Leather is an underrated medium for earrings. It is durable, naturally textured, and has a wonderful “organic” smell and feel.
The Design: Using thin sheets of vegetable-tanned leather, cut out geometric shapes—triangles, long rectangles, or teardrops. You can leave them raw and natural, or paint them with leather dyes or acrylics to create bold patterns. Because leather is so thin, you can “stack” multiple cutouts to create a layered, multi-dimensional look. They look exceptionally sharp and professional, perfect for a business-casual aesthetic.
