6. Cascading Fjordside Stilt Longhouse
Dramatically cantilevered over the icy waters of a deep fjord, this longhouse relies on massive wooden cross-bracing and stone stilts to hover gracefully over the sea. Constructed with a mix of Striped Mangrove, Mud Bricks, and Weathered Copper, the building reflects the rugged elegance of a maritime trading hub. Long wooden piers extend straight out from the longhouse floor, featuring working cranes built with oak fences, grindstones, and hay bales ready for trading with traveling villager cartographers. The interior floor plan features open sea-view archways fitted with glass panes, allowing you to gaze out across icebergs while staying warm inside by the stone-cut fireplaces. The floor is lined with stripped wood patterns that resemble the hull of a giant ship, and suspended fish nets made of cobwebs and cod item frames hang from the ceiling beams, emphasizing a rich, authentic coastal survival lifestyle.
