20. Ruined Eldritch Nether-Corrupted Longhouse
Tell a dark, storytelling narrative with your build by crafting an ancient Nordic longhouse that has been partially infected and corrupted by mysterious Nether forces. Half of the longhouse retains classic, warm Nordic timber construction with spruce roofs and burning stone hearths. However, as you walk down the hall, the structure seamlessly degrades into warped stems, netherrack, sculk blocks, and weeping vines that burst through the broken roof tiles. Glowing crimson spores fill the air, while the central wooden fire pit has turned into a swirling pool of glowing lava and sculk veins. Broken wooden beams, shattered glass panes, and scattered armor stands give the impression of a tragic historic battle against otherworldly forces, making it an incredible atmospheric build for adventure maps and hardcore survival worlds.
