4. The Broken Lantern Post
Picture this: a single lantern post at the edge of camp, leaning at an angle, its lantern cracked and dark. It is a tiny build, almost an afterthought, and yet it changes the whole mood of the scene.
Build it from dark oak fencing and a chain, hang the lantern low, and let tall grass swallow the base. When the sun sets, everything else in the camp fades, and the broken lantern is what your eye keeps coming back to.
