7. Vintage Apothecary Paper Labels
Turn ordinary glass bottles and jars into a collection of rare, dangerous ingredients from a witch’s pantry. Design and print vintage-style labels featuring fictional, spooky ingredients like “Spiders’ Silk,” “Essence of Nightshade,” or “Liquid Moonbeam.” To make the paper look authentic and centuries old, soak the printed labels in strong black tea, tear the edges unevenly, and lightly singe them with a lighter once dry. Paste them onto amber, green, or clear glass bottles filled with colored water or dried botanicals. These bottles look incredibly atmospheric arranged on a kitchen shelf or a dining table centerpiece surrounded by dripping candles.
