13. The Retro TV Set Cat Lounge
Give a nostalgic nod to the past by building a Retro TV Set Cat Lounge. This creative project can be made by hollowing out an old, vintage wooden television cabinet or by building a replica cabinet from scratch using rich mahogany or cherry plywood.
Replace the old glass screen with a wide-open viewing portal for your cat. The front panel can be detailed with replica wooden knobs, dial plates, and retro speaker fabric. Inside, line the walls with fun, retro-patterned wallpaper or fabric, and add a thick, plush cushion. Your cat will look incredibly cute peer out from the “screen,” making it appear as though they are starring in their very own television show.
